How do I find a celebrity photograph ?
On the homepage are a number of celebrity names, and next to each of them are blue links to specific products. Click on one of the links to view what available photographs there are of that celebrity. Names are sorted by surname.

Could you run me through how to buy a print please ?
Certainly. This is how to go about buying a product through this site, start to finish.
On the home-page, CelebrityPrints.net, find the name you are interested in and select the relevant link next to it. From there, you will be taken to a page showing all the available pictures for products of that type for your celebrity. Give it a little time to load. Pick one of the photo’s by clicking on the image, and you will be taken to a page showing that picture full size. Take note of the “ref” next to their name in the brackets. Now click on the “Buy a *product* of this photo” button.
You should now be re-directed to the checkout. If you are not, go back to the home-page and click on “checkout”. You should now see a list of images you have added to your “Shopping Basket”. If you wish to add more images to your order, click on the Back to Home-page link. If you would like to remove an image from your order, simply click on “Remove” next to the image you want to remove, or click on “Empty Basket” to start again. You should see the “ref” of the image you chose, a link to it on its left, and the product type to the right.
Select your country and the page will refresh with the correct shipping costs.
For photo-prints, you can also choose : the type of paper you want the print on, the size of print you want, and, if you want one, the size and type of frame. There are help topics if you need advice on this.
Now fill in your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number if you have them, and select what type of payment you will be giving. Note that payment by PayPal incurs a small handling charge and cash by post is sent at your own risk.
Finally, click on “Complete Order” to apply by e-mail and receive the small notification.
You can see the price of your order in the “Total Price” box on the page. If there is an immediate problem with the order, you will be informed.

How do I pay for an order ?
Once you have submitted an order, by e-mail or by post, you will receive a confirmation e-mail asking you to, if you have not done so already, remit payment by the method you chose.
PayPal is fastest, easiest and most secure, and preferable for international payments. The small additional charge is just the same as a stamp to send payment. Sterling cheques, cash or Postal orders are also options (address below).
On receipt of cleared payment, the items will be dispatched by First Class UK delivery which should then arrive after a day or two. You will be notified when the item is dispatched.
If you order by post or you are sending us a photograph to scan, then you should contact us by e-mail to obtain a quote before sending any payment.

Are Postage & Packing included ?
If you order through our checkout, or have obtained a quote from us, then the answer is yes. The prices quoted by these means do include First Class postage.

How secure is this site/transaction ?
CelebrityPrints.net has no security protocols as yet - we are a small, home-run business. Any credit card payments must be made securely by PayPal, or by mail otherwise. As such, the only risks involved to you are the Royal Mail losing the mail. Although this rarely happens, if you are concerned about this you could send the mail registered delivery via your local Post Office.
Your name and address will be stored on a database, but only to facilitate future transactions and accounts purposes. We do not sell or give out any details or contact customers without consent.

My celebrity is not listed or I have a print/image
Admittedly this site is missing a good number of names - we are always open to requests and will do our best to find a print of any celebrity, or to make a print of an image you provide. Contact find@celebrityprints.net with as much detail about the celebrity, and print, you are thinking of. If you have a photograph, you can send it to the above address, or if you have it in digital form (preferably a JPEG), attach it to your e-mail.
If, instead, you have a photograph or other hard-copy of the image, you can send it to our address, by whatever means you find easiest, we can scan it (for an extra 50p per photograph) and make a print of it. When you send them, please fill out a blank order form and use our checkout (just go through the process of ordering any item to find the price, just do not click on “Complete Order”) to calculate the relevant payment. The photograph, and print, will be sent back (as usual) by recorded post as quickly as possible.

Any advice on paper, sizes or frames ?
Of course. As far as print size is concerned, this is your choice. Some prints are better small due to their current size, and some better large to make use of their sheer quality. It really depends on what you want. If we think your choice is not compatible with the image, we will confirm with you.
Paper is an important decision. Obviously plain paper is the cheapest, and produces a reasonable quality print, but nothing like an actual photograph. White cardboard is like plain paper, but thicker and stronger. Matt paper is photo-quality paper, does not reflect light so can be seen in any light, keeps its colour and can be touched any-how and not lose any ink. Gloss paper is more like photo-paper; it is thicker and has a shiny finish, although if it is pressed too hard the ink will rise from the paper. Personally, I think gloss paper is the best choice for its print quality, colour retention and longevity.
Think carefully about frames. It adds to the shipping costs rather considerably, although if you are sending it to someone as a gift - it really makes for a great photo ! Plain frames are sufficient if you want to keep the print clean and flat, but the other frames add the colour and border to offset a photo, and the option of standing it up or hanging it on the wall. As far as size is concerned, you should choose the same size, or next size up, from the size of the print. You cannot choose a smaller frame than the print.

I want to send a gift or My billing and delivery addresses are different
If you are sending a gift, or are asking the items to be sent to an address other than the address you will be paying from, we are happy to accomodate you. If you require a receipt we must make an additional 20p postage charge, and small additional charges per item if you want them gift wrapped, each of which will be notified in the checkout. The delivery address will not know anything of the transaction other than our company name, or if you expressly ask us to include some of your details.
In the confirmation e-mail you are sent, you will be asked, if you ordered gift wrapping, whether you want to include a message on a tag. You must enclose the correct information if you do wish to include a message. These are free of charge.

Most of the pages/images are not loading
This site is largely built with PHP. This page and the home page are the only pages not constructed in PHP, they are plain HTML. The most likely cause for not being able to open anything is that either there is a problem with our scripts, or that you have JavaScript disabled. It is possible that the version of your browser needs some updates, in which case you ought to download a newer version of a browser from either http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/ie6/download.asp (Internet Explorer 6) or http://home.netscape.com/browsers/6/index.html?cp=dju6xpod (Netscape 6.2).
If it is only images you cannot see, try opening your Internet Options on your Control Panel, and checking the “Do not display images” box.
If none of this works, it is possibly a problem with our web-site, in which case we would like to hear about it.
